Rita Avdiev's diverse career provides the background for her professional activities. She graduated from the University of Melbourne and worked as an architect, academic and project manager. She also served as a member of the Planning Division of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal of Victoria, the equivalent of a commissioner of the Land and Environment Court of NSW. Rita was Chairman of the Board of VICTEC Group Training, a company set up as a joint venture between the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the Electrical Trade Union (CEPU). It trained some 400 apprentices for the electrical, electronic and allied industries and hired them to employer companies in Victoria. As the independent Chairman with the casting vote, Rita chaired a board of six directors representing the joint venture partners. She is currently chair of the Property Education Advisory Committee of the University of Western Sydney from which she has received an award for outstanding support of property education.
She has served on many national committees including the Australian Institute of Building, CSIRO, Building Research and Development Advisory Committee (BRDAC) and National Advisory Commission on Skills Recognition (NACSR) and has been a member of the council of the RMIT and Holmesglen College of TAFE. She has been Chairman of the Building Careers Resource Centre of Australia and a member of the Board of the Art Foundation of Victoria.
Rita Avdiev B Arch (Melbourne) is a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a Senior Associate of FINSIA. Avdiev is a member of the Property Council of Australia, the Urban Development Institute of Australia and many other industry and business organisations.

For over 10 years Rebecca has been with the Avdiev Group, enjoying her varied role as office manager. Her responsibilities include administration, finance, database and website management, PA, plus everything that falls off Rita's desk.

Debra Moloney provides the research and remuneration analysis for Avdiev consulting and research products. She project manages the Avdiev Survey and the compilation of the Avdiev report. She also conducts and compiles the research data for the ASX Non-Executive Directors Fees databases and the Women Business Leaders Databases.
